All my kittens are born in the house and stay in the house with the rest of us until they go to a new home.
Like all my cats they have a free run. They are picked up as soon as they are born and they are
continually handled until they leave us. I believe that this gives them their amazing confidence and
character. They are all bomb proof. Because all my queens are essentially pets, they are more than
happy for us to do this, they do not feel threated at all, but they do keep a watchful eye on us.
I do want all my kittens to go to homes where they are cared for and treasured. I prefer that they go to pet
homes. I would however consider registering them on the active register to a suitable owner.
I am very happy to help new Bengal owners and breeders in any way I can.
I love cats and when I sit down in the evening I want a cat on my lap that I can stroke and play with. As
you research Bengals you will read and hear that they are not this type of cat, they don't like being picked
up, they don't like this, they don't like that.
My cats do like to be picked up, and they demand that they sit on your lap. They play fetch, they hog the
fire, they sit in your favorite chair, they will try and lick your lips when you are eating something that they
like,
I remember my sheer disappointment at having spent a small fortune on my first Bengal and her never
wanting to be near people. Thankfully after many years of coaxing her she to is now a loving cat.
I was determined that my own cats would never be like that and they are not. But they do retain the
characteristics that make them distinctly Bengal. They are cheeky, they are very clever, they do rule the
roost, they will never be ignored and they will add colour and fun to your life.

Kittens
There is just one draw back to the way I house my cats, I am obviously limited to the
amount of litters I can have each year. This often means a long wait for the right kitten or
as some times happens, I have to ask people to look else where. I have given this a lot of
thought and I have decided that I will not increase quantity and sacrifice quality. Those
people who are fortunate enough to own a Consortio Bengal repeatedly tell me that they
are so glad they waited. I am not really interested in filling the market, just placing amazing
cats into fantastic homes.
